WILLIE NELSON AND ANNIE D’ANGELO – 29 YEARS

Willie Nelson has been married and divorced twice in his life. Aside from being a legendary country music singer, known for his Outlaw Country songs, collaboration with other world-renowned performers, he also had a lot of marriages. Add to that that he is also an Austin icon; he has a lot under his belt.

Nelson’s last marriage before his current wife, Annie D’Angelo, was in 1988 with Connie Koepke. He stayed single for a short while after that. He took his time investing in getting himself back together and put the pieces in the right place, repairing what was broken before he jumpstarts a new relationship, which apparently is the right thing to do and what everyone must do. He took another shot at love again and tied the knot with D’Angelo in 1991. As they are now to celebrate 29 years of marriage, looks like Nelson won’t need the help of his divorce lawyers anymore.
