Before he even got his college degree from Yale University, Dick Cavett was already quite the entertainer. Besides studying for his classes, he dabbled in various jobs, including a radio show director, magician, and a country club’s caddie. With all these experiences becoming ammunition for his career, the comedian-TV personality eventually found success as a writer, stand-up comic, and talk-show host.

In 2017, Cavett placed his gorgeous Hamptons estate on the market. As of 2020, its selling price is $27.95 million, less than half of its original price of $62 million. Besides its lovely amenities, the 20-acre property also features a pond, a lake, and a cliffside view of the ocean. Besides Cavett, the 7,000-square-foot house has also entertained other big-named celebrities over the years, including the stars Cavett interviewed, such as Robert Redford, Dustin Hoffman, Andy Warhol, and Mick and Bianca Jagger.
