MAGGIE SMITH – PRICE UNKNOWN

Many of the entertainment industry’s talented actors began their careers on the stage before landing their first on-screen roles. Well, Maggie Smith is no exception to this. Her first stints as an actress were for productions in the Oxford Playhouse, debuting as Viola in Twelfth Night. Since then, she has garnered widespread recognition for her performance in projects such as The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, A Private Function, Sister Act, and most especially, the Harry Potter films.

In recent years, the actress reportedly resides in a house located in West Sussex. Before this, though, Smith once owned an estate in Downtown Abbey, and it’s got quite a history. With its former owners being royal figures, it comes as no surprise the property radiates a high degree of elegance. Sitting on an 18-acre plot, the 6,000-square-foot house features eight bedrooms, four reception rooms, and an all-around gorgeous aesthetic.
