KAREEM ABDUL-JABBAR – $5.9 MILLION

After his 20-season career in the NBA, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is often considered one of the best basketball players to grace the court. After his retirement, he also worked as a basketball coach, author, and actor. However, like his basketball career, Abdul-Jabbar is just as well-known for being one of Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do students – the two even shared a fight scene in Lee’s Game of Death.

Through the years, the former basketball player has spent some investment money on more than a few homes. One such property is his former Hawaii estate. With its tropical location and cozy-looking living space, the house radiates an atmosphere nothing short of comfortable. As of 2013, the lovely 3.4-acre property is up for sale with a $5.9 million selling price. For its price, new residents will have access to amenities such as its lava-rock fireplaces, a 50-foot custom swimming pool, and an all-around view of its lush green surroundings.
