TED TURNER – PRICE UNKNOWN

Although actors are the more recognizable figures in the entertainment industry, it would still be a disservice if we don’t credit the people working behind the scenes. One such person is Ted Turner, who founded the TV network CNN and pioneered the superstation concept in the world of cable TV. With all the work he has done over the years, Turner has accumulated an impressive net worth that’s as much as $1 billion, meaning he could purchase just about anything he wanted.

Well, among the many things he got his hands on is this lovely house he named Avalon, a callback to his love for the story of King Arthur. An 8,000-acre plot bought in the 80s, Turner has since expanded the land, making it go for as wide as an impressive 33,000 acres! With space this big, it’s safe to say that Turner spends most of his leisure time outside the house, perhaps on horseback or even on a bicycle.
